About the person behind the ronin:
I have been a fan of the Lupin III/The Third series for several years now, though more specifically, I have maintained an interest in Ishikawa Goemon XIII and his life, as I've imagined it. I am pretty passionate when it comes to roleplaying as Goemon, and in hopping from community to community, I am always searching for writing-buddies who feel the same way about the characters they control, canon or OC. It's interesting to hear what people have to say, even if they tell me that they feel Goemon is flat-out boring. I fully disagree, but to each his/her own!
I'm in a decent roleplay at the moment outside of LJ. If you feel like checking it out for whatever reason, you can find it (http://www.lupinthethird.net/forums/index.php?topic=984.0) at Lupin the Third.net.
Some other things that are of interest to me would be:
Cooking, Shintoism, Buddhism, Bushido, bakemono, mythology, Ishikawa Goemon (the historical figure), 8-bit/16-bit music, ukiyo-e (and sometimes, very mild shunga), retro gaming, Yoshi, Mario, writing, drawing, joking around, and observing animals.
The only anime I watch on regular basis is Lupin III, but I've also enjoyed Grave of the Fireflies and Now and Then, Here and There.
